Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026.

These terms govern your use of opencctv.org (the "Service"), operated by Impactful Technology LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

opencctv.org is a free service that gathers publicly available live camera feeds - traffic, weather, scenic, and public-safety cameras - published by third parties such as government agencies, transport departments, and camera operators, and presents them on an interactive map. Some feeds load directly from the operator; others are relayed through our servers. You do not need an account to use the Service.

Third-party camera feeds

We do not own, operate, or control the cameras or feeds shown on the Service. They are provided by their respective operators, who are responsible for them; we claim no ownership of them, and any rights in them belong to their operators or others. We make no guarantee that any feed is available, accurate, current, or free of interruptions, and a feed may change or be removed at any time by its operator. Questions about a specific camera should be directed to its operating agency; see how we source cameras.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Impactful Technology LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any third-party camera feed.

Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. See our privacy policy for how data is handled.

We respect the rights of camera operators and other copyright owners. If you own a camera or its footage and want it removed from the Service, or you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512):

Copyright Agent, Impactful Technology LLC
24a Trolley Square, 1608
Wilmington, DE 19806, United States
Phone: +1 347-815-5819
Email: [email protected]
U.S. Copyright Office registration DMCA-1085523

A notice should include:

We act on valid notices promptly, usually by removing the camera from the Service. Camera operators who simply prefer not to be listed can write to the same address; no legal notice is needed for that. If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Impactful Technology LLC is organized.
